Our Buffalo Bills went through a tough 2023 Season to still make a playoff appearance and run on a depleted roster. They entered 2024 with a hole filled roster with many key positions that needed to be addressed. Beane and Co. did an amazing job during the free agency frenzy bringing back familiar and introducing new faces to One Bills Drive. With the Draft fast approaching, our Buffalo Bills have 11 opportunities to immediately make an impact, but where do they start? WR, Safety, IDL, and CB are among the popular positions in need. Many billieve acquiring a legit WR#2 is priority, so that’s where we’ll start.
With Stefon Diggs locked in for 4 more years, Khalil Shakir another 2 and newly acquired Curtis Samuel for 3, some would say WR#2 is not the priority with pick 28. Some, would say that. Many of the Bills Mafia may disagree. Khalil and Samuel possess quality attributes that will benefit the Buffalo Bills in 2024, but there is something still missing in the WR Room at One Bills Drive. That something could be Brian Thomas Jr.. Brian Thomas Jr. combines size and speed that easily translates into a next level vertical threat. Combined with, impressive agility he will be very difficult to defend. He does need a little route tree help, however, pairing up with the best route runner in the league, Stefon Diggs, will only help Brian refine his trade. His hands, leaping ability and sideline awareness make him a formidable WR#2 for the Buffalo Bills, the piece Allen and Co. needs to get over that hump. Add some weight to his 6’3” 205 Lb frame and he’ll be tough to handle for any CB in the league.
